I've long been fascinated by the classic team symbols found on ball caps and other sportswear. Think Tigers, Yankees, or Dodgers; when you see one of these logos, they symbolize not merely the team, but the place. An interlocking "NY" or an Old English "D" are all you need to know where this person is from (or wishes they were from). They're proud of their geographical identity, even if they don't especially care about the team that logo was originally designed for.

My goal with MI City Hats is to provide that same sense of city pride or identity. I begin with Grand Rapids, my hometown. Certainly, we have the Whitecaps (and I count myself a fan). But, and with all due respect, their team logo does not transcend them. It is my humble hope that the "GR" logo found on MI City Hats products might serve that purpose.

I plan to add further cities soon. After all, it's called "MI City Hats", not "GR City Hats". For now, thank you for visiting, and I hope that you might find something that you can wear with pride.
